I agree to plant fresh material in my planter(s) no later than Thursday, May 15, 2026 and I will continue to care for my planter at least until the first killing frost of 2026. I will keep my planter(s) watered, weeded, and in good health at all times. I understand that the use of bark mulch will keep weeds down, and will help prevent my planter from drying out quite so quickly. If I choose to use mulch, I will not use dyed mulch. I will not use any inorganic materials/ plastic in my planter, and will refrain from placing knick-knacks, flags, or other signage in my planter(s). I understand that Jim Tunall Awards will be given to sponsors of well designed planters who consistently follow rules and maintain the health of their planter(s) for the duration of the growing season. I understand that a failure to adhere to these expectations may result in the revocation of my planter sponsorship.
